Chad and Leigh’s Fall Colonial Williamsburg Wedding was nothing short of amazing. They have been dating since 2009, they are madly in love and from the moment I met them I knew they were the real thing. Chad’s proposal was very well thought out, and what every girl would dream of. This is how it all started, they were trying to plan a week trip, but Leigh couldn’t get a week off of work, so she booked a trip to the national harbor, and that is where Chad got down on one knee and popped the question right in the hotel room. Friends and family were on facetime, and soaking in all the feels with them.

Their wedding ceremony was a traditional catholic ceremony, based in Colonial Williamsburg to honor their faith and what they believe in. St. Bede’s Catholic Church is absolutely gorgeous, the attention to detail is to die for, and very well thought out. This ceremony space is breathtaking.
Chad and Leigh’s Colonial Williamsburg Wedding day was the perfect fall day. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and everyone was so excited to get this couple down the aisle. The wedding was a huge wedding with over 200 guests, and extended family. It was elegant, and timeless with great music, and a lot of dancing. I don’t think I have ever seen so much dancing! Leigh had on a timeless satin form fitting gown, she looked like a model right out of a magazine. Chad had on a blue tux, and they matched perfectly. The bridesmaids wore light green dresses, and the groomsmen wore black tuxes. Everyone blended perfectly, and it was very well thought out.
One thing I loved is on Leigh’s bouquet she had a pendant passed down from her family. It was so touching, and memorable, I think that is a great idea to pass down family traditions, it creates those timeless moments. Another timeless moment that stood out to me, was a part of their tradition, there’s a certain song that plays, and it is called the money dance. Everyone grabs 1’s, 5’s, 20’s and I even saw some 50’s. They dance and pin the money on the couple. Leigh had on a gorgeous sash, and changed into her second dress. It was so amazing to see how everyone supports each other in this culture.

Why they chose Beautifully Divine Events?

Chad and Leigh found me through Wedding Wire, which I love because I don’t get many leads from there. They were looking for someone who was strong in communication, and could take over and make their day as effortless as possible. I knew I could do that and so much more, so I couldn’t wait to prove them right.

Also, one main thing we pride ourselves in is to try and make it feel like you are truly enjoying your wedding. So, as you take pictures I bring you food, and drinks so you can get some food on your stomach, and try to feel as if you are enjoying cocktail hour as well. My couples love this, because it shows we care, and they are ready to get the party started:)
